A powerful way in which The Times brings more publicity to a bestseller is by doing a book review. However, time and time again, conservative books are left with no such review. Charles Krauthammer’s Things That Matter, Sarah Palin’s Good Tidings and Great Joy, and Ben Carson’s America the Beautiful, to name a few, all earned their due spots on the list, but received no reviews. The Times consistently shows preferential and biased treatment to the books it ideologically agrees with, and overtly ignores much of the rest.
