- About every four weeks (but no more than sixteen times a year), you will receive the Conservative Book Club Bulletin, packed with the kind of books you will want to read and own.
- Each Bulletin will describe a Main Selection chosen just for you. Display of the Main Selection on the web site is generally synchronized with the Bulletin mailings. If you want to receive only the Main Selection, do nothing and it will be shipped to you automatically. It will be sent to you within 30 days of the deadline date. Or, for faster service, you may order it online.
- If you do not want the Main Selection, or if you would like an alternate selection, you must indicate your wishes on the handy reply card included with your Bulletin and return it before the deadline date. Better yet, save the postage and come to the website to place your order or to decline the Main Selection.
- If you ever receive your Bulletin late and don't have at least 10 days to decide if you want the Main Selection, and it has already been shipped to you, just return it at the Club's expense for a complete credit. Fortunately, this rarely happens because we allow 5-6 weeks from the date that we mail the Bulletin until the date we ship the selection.
- If you are not completely satisfied with any book, return it and receive a complete credit.
- Unless otherwise noted, a shipping and handling charge (and sales tax, where applicable) will be added to each selection. Our current standard shipping rate is $3.95 for the first book and $1 for each additional book ordered at the same time.
- Returns should be sent to Conservative Book Club, 6121 Greenwood Drive, Dept. 0800, Louisville, KY 40258 with a letter stating that you would like a credit or refund for your items. Please be sure to include in your correspondence your account number, invoice number, and the order code of the item that you are returning. Once the return has been received, the outstanding balance will be removed from your account.
- So that our members have a chance to see interesting offers from other companies, we make our members' names and addresses available to other companies on a one-time use, rental-fee basis. We carefully choose who rents our names and only rent to companies offering goods or services we think would be of interest to our members. If you would like us to remove your name and address, telephone number and/or email address from the rental files, please contact Customer Service.
- Your purchases start earning bonus points after you have fulfilled your membership purchase obligation. With our Bonus Books Program, every book you buy with a Club price of $14.95 or more earns one (1) bonus point. Every book you buy with a Club price of $34.95 or more earns two (2) bonus points. Once you earn four (4) points you have one year to purchase any eligible Bonus book for as little as $6.00 plus shipping and handling. Eligible books will be marked in the Bulletin with a Liberty Bell symbol. Bonus points will expire if not used within one year of receipt.
