Victorino Matus is deputy editor at the Washington Free Beacon, and was formerly a senior editor at The Weekly Standard. He writes on a variety of subjects, including politics, Germany, military history, pop culture, and food and drink.
His work has also appeared in Policy Review, National Review, Armed Forces Journal, the New York Post, the Washington Post, and the Wall Street Journal. His most recent book is, Vodka: An Illustrated History (Lyons Press, 2014). Matus is a graduate of Georgetown University.
