It'll take more than a village to rid us of Hillary -- now, Dick Morris explains why it will take Condi Rice
Condi vs. Hillary
by Dick Morris
Dick Morris was the man Hillary Clinton turned to when the Clinton Administration was in danger of capsizing in the early 1990s. A longtime friend, confidant, and political advisor for both Clintons, he is intimately familiar with Hillary's presidential aspirations -- and with the grave danger that a new Clinton presidency would pose for our nation. Now, in Condi Vs. Hillary: The Next Great Presidential Race, he reveals why Barack Obama, John Edwards, and the rest should throw in the towel now: there is absolutely no doubt whatsoever that Hillary will be the Democratic nominee in 2008. And in a surprising but compelling analysis, he details why only Condi Rice can defeat her -- and save us from a President Hillary who would almost certainly unleash far more Leftist havoc upon America than her randy husband ever dreamed of doing.
(continued from above)
Morris, the nation's most prominent political consultant, draws upon his years of experience with high-level, bare-knuckle political maneuvering to explain why, in 2008, no ordinary white male Republican candidate will do: Frist, Pataki, and George Allen, he says, can't win; Giuliani and McCain are too far to the left to be nominated; Jeb Bush and Dick Cheney have too much baggage; and the foreign-born Arnold Schwarzenegger can't run. That leaves only Condi Rice, making it certain that the first female President will be sworn in on January 20, 2009 -- and making 2008 the election of the century. In Condi Vs. Hillary, Morris examines the backgrounds and electability of both women; explores electoral trends that both parties will try to exploit to carry them to victory; details what strategies both candidates will likely adopt; and much more.
If the very thought of four -- or maybe even eight -- more years of the Clintons and their hard-left policies alarms you, don't miss this book. If you see through Hillary's current pose as an easygoing moderate, this book will give you hope. If you remember what Hillary really is: a rabidly partisan, ethically challenged left-wing ideologue, then discover in this book what can and must be done to defeat Hillary in 2008.
Why it will be Condi vs. Hillary in 2008:
- How, for the first time in our history, most voters say they would support a woman for President
- The gender gap: how it has been the lifeline for the Democrats for decades -- and how Republicans can counteract this Democratic advantage
- How, contrary to widespread conservative belief, Hillary could pull together the national support she would need to be elected President
- The shocking truth about the many scandals in which Hillary has been embroiled, and her tin ear on ethical issues
- Hillary and Condi: the many striking contrasts between their backgrounds, current perspectives, and political approaches
- Hillary's carefully scripted master plan to become President -- and how she has followed it religiously for years
- Hillary's predictably liberal voting record: how she has never voted for anything that a preprogrammed machine could not have anticipated
- Evidence that Rice, despite her denials of any intention to run, may not have definitively ruled out a presidential bid in 2008
- Why Hillary allowed a frothing radical like Howard Dean become Chairman of the Democratic National Committee
- Hillary's newfound centrism: how it carefully focuses only on issues at the margin of politics, while her core beliefs remain solidly Leftist
- The three goals Hillary had in mind when she published her memoirs -- and how each is directed toward the ultimate goal of propelling her into the Oval Office
- The real reasons why Hillary stays with Bill despite his continued philandering
- The sorry record of Hillary's dishonesty: how at times it has seemed as if she could not resist telling a lie
- Hillary's shallow credentials: how, even after four years in the Senate, she still has no notable legislative achievements to her name
- Hillary's socialism: how she has learned absolutely nothing from the collapse of Communism and the success of Reaganism
- How the backlash that could result from Hillary's abandoning her Senate seat for a Presidential run could wind up returning her to private life
- Hillary's inability to accept criticism: how it cripples her as a legislator, and could destroy her presidency
- The black vote: how Democrats treat it as automatically won -- and how a Rice candidacy could change that
- Condi Rice: how she embodies the core belief of the Republican Party -- that it is the individual who matters, regardless of race, sex, or economic level
- Rice's uneven record during her first tenure in Washington-- and how her approach has clearly changed since then
- How Rice has more than once stood doggedly on principle, even when her stance drew the displeasure of both the Left and the Right
- Rice's management record as provost of Stanford University: why it is the best indication of what kind of President she might be
- How religious values form the core of the Bush/Rice approach to global politics (and how spirituality also lies at the heart of Hillary's uncompromising liberalism)
- Edwards, Kerry, Dean, and other Democratic hopefuls: why they can't win in 2008
- Two key advantages Condi Rice already enjoys over other Republican hopefuls if she does decide to run
- Eleven central questions that will decide whether or not Rice will really run in 2008
- A Draft Rice movement: how it could prevail in the Republican primaries and overcome obstacles placed in its path by the media and the Democrats
- How both Hillary and Condi are likely to respond to crises as Chief Executive

You would like us to vote for someone who was instrumental in propagating the lies about WMD and got us in a war with Iraq??
Sorry.................
First, there were no lies about WMD. There was unanimity about Iraq's posession of WMDs. Those in agreement included the UN weapons inspectors, John Kerry, Robert Byrd, Bill Clinton--there is no need to continue. Your comment is typical of the historical reversical, whimsical evangelism that infects most liberal commentary these days.
Second, we attacked Iraq in self defense. Iraq attacked the U.S. homeland, and our interests abroad, repeatedly before we finally retaliated. There was the attack on Radio Free Europe in Prague. There was the invasion of Kuwait. There were the $15 million in bounties paid to Hamas suicide bombers. The year 1993 brought Iraqi attempts on i) the life of George Bush and ii) the World Trade Center. There was the 2001 assassination of Laurence Foley. There was the safe harbor provided to Zaqarwi in mid-'02.
I would like us to vote for whichever candidate thinks least like the evengelical liberal element.
