Mike Tyson and Donald Trump have been friends for years. Trump served as a “business advisor” to Tyson and hosted his fight against Michael Spinks in 1988. In a recent interview, Tyson endorsed Trump’s candidacy for President — see the video below!
Tyson said that Trump earned his endorsement because of his corporate background:
“People are tired of what you’re doing, what you’ve been doing the last 20 years. So let’s try something new! We tried Obama, right, time for a change. So we got change. So now let’s try something new. Let’s run America like a business, where no color matters. Whoever can do the job, gets the job.”
Tyson’s endorsement is vital for Trump’s plans should he become president. Building a wall between the U.S. and Mexico would cost billions of dollars. Tyson’s endorsement means that Trump could appoint Tyson as “Chief Border Patrol Agent” — or perhaps Tyson could punch out the infamous Mexican drug lord, El Chapo Guzman. Tyson’s intimidation factor alone will be more effective than any wall would be.
