Ted Cruz Talks Condom Police & Hillary Clinton

What’s the best way to win an argument that you’re losing? Make up an outrageous fallacy regarding your opponent. The Left has utilized and mastered this tactic to perfection, evident by Hillary Clinton and the Left’s claim that the GOP is waging a “War on Women.”

Sen. Ted Cruz struck back at Hillary Clinton and the left’s attempt to smear the GOP as anti-contraceptive. This is a ridiculous claim and Cruz utilized humor in a town hall speech in Iowa to combat it.

Cruz stated that most Americans disagree with Clinton’s stance on abortion. Cruz claimed that in response “they try to shift it – The “War on Women” wasn’t about abortion, it was contraceptives.”

He went on to state “I have been a conservative my entire life; I have never met anybody – any conservative – who wants to ban contraceptives. As I noted, Heidi and I, we have two little girls. I’m very glad we don’t have seventeen.” This brought chuckles and a huge applause from the audience.

“Every country you touched as secretary of state is a disaster. So what do you do? You go aha! The condom police.” He continued by assuring that the GOP “aren’t the condom police” and that “last time I checked there wasn’t a rubber shortage in America.”
