List is for week of January 21-27, 2016
WASHINGTON, DC – In a seismic shake up of the Conservative Bestseller List, new entry 13 Hours: The Inside Account on What Really Happened in Benghazi lands at No. 1 and hopes to bring attention again to the brave men who saved countless American lives in Benghazi, Libya on September 11, 2012. The book was written by Mitchell Zuckoff and the Annex Security Team, and was the basis of the recently released Michael Bay movie 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi.
13 Hours is the true account of the events of September 11, 2012, when terrorists attacked the US State Department Special Mission Compound and a nearby CIA station called the Annex in Benghazi, Libya. A team of six American security operators fought to repel the attackers and protect the Americans stationed there. You can also read CBC’s original movie review to learn more.
“The 13 Hours Benghazi story is certainly the “Black Hawk Down” of our generation,” said Christopher N. Malagisi, Editor in Chief of the Conservative Book Club. “Hillary Clinton has yet to be held responsible for her role in this tragic incident and hopefully the book and movie will remind the American voters.”
The Conservative Book Club’s weekly Conservative Bestseller List will be announced each Thursday, in conjunction with The Mike Gallagher Show, and is the most accurate, unbiased, data-driven source for ranking books on conservative topics.
