Kasich has the experience and expertise, by virtue of his previous governmental positions to address the budgetary difficulties facing America
today. During the Clinton administration Kasich was instrumental in setting the path toward achieving a balanced budget. Also he was able, while governor of Ohio, to
turn a 4 billion dollar deficit into a 2 billion dollar surplus. His proven record of responsible fiscal management has earned my respect, and will also gain him my vote
should he become the nominee of the Republican Party. As well, polls show him to be the only candidate able to defeat Hillary Clinton in the upcoming presidential election. What’s not to love?

The self-professed “lapsed Catholic” should consider those obstacles a blessing in disguise, given […]
“Private Manning is a traitor and should not have been turned into a martyr. Private Manning’s actions compromised our national security, endangered American personnel downrange by leaking 750,000 documents to WikiLeaks.” — Mike Pence
Pres. Obama has, as part of his final pardons, commuted the sentence of convicted traitor and data-leaker Chelsea Manning from 35 years to 5 more months in prison. Was this mercy a good move, or does it legitimize treason and weaken our national security? Vote now in our CBC reader poll!
“I described Obama as an incredible shrinking man, it’s like watching air come out of a balloon. Between now and Easter, his legacy will shrink until it’s about the size of a golf ball.” — Newt Gingrich
