Cruz vs. Trump On Abortion: Who’s Right?

by Bradley Matthews

“Once again Donald Trump has demonstrated that he hasn’t seriously thought through the issues, and he’ll say anything just to get attention… Of course we shouldn’t be talking about punishing women; we should affirm their dignity and the incredible gift they have to bring life into the world.” — Ted Cruz

It’s sensitive to talk about that issue abortion, the best recommend leave to private between the doctor with patient’s confessional . THere is no illegal or murder or whatever names it.

If abortion is illegal, IF it is illegal, the mother and the doctor are culpable.
However, there are exceptions: I will give the benefit of the doubt to a teenage mother who is afraid. She should be given proper advice. The doctor, however, is absolutely culpable and is guilty of illegal practice.

Ted took out Rubio about amnesty but he has a major covered up amnesty program: open borders! Between Mexico/US and Canada/US: North American Union scheme.

Trump answered the question correctly. Law in place, law is broken, there are consequences aka punishment!
Brad you are dead wrong about policy. After Brussels attacks, Trump was asked what he would do and it went down like he had excellent natural instincts, aka they agreed! A week later the president of the Brussels People’s Party endorsed him for his vow to defeat the world’s enemy – that on Utube.
Trump says “let’s rethink NATO, it seems obsolete in it’s purposes and why do we pay the majority of it?” It IS obsolete in purpose. Watch that get a makeover and budget cut soon.
Trump will clean out the corruption because he is not owned. Look how the establishment is trying to bury him. He is the one!

Don’t get me started on Cruz and Kasich is a nut. Catch up Brad.

Abortion is a terrible thing. It’s an excuse to legally kill babies because you don’t want them. I can understand if it’s choice between the mother or the fetus’s life, in that case abortion might be necessary, but to kill a baby because you don’t want it is murder in my book. There are a lot of people who would like to have the baby if you don’t want it. If you hire a doctor to kill the baby, he is guilty of murder also. Right now abortion is legal, so their is no consequences to obtain or preform an abortion. Although the media does not ever show the whole question or answer, they just show enough to make their point. Trump was asked if abortion was ill-legal should the mother be subject to consequences. If you break the law, you will be subjected to whatever the consequences are for that crime. That’s the way the law is supposed to work. The media left off the part of the question about if abortions are ill-legal. They are the ones who are liars. They will do ANYTHING they can to make Trump look bad. If you quote something wrong, you are not telling the truth.

“Much Ado About Nothing”. What that fool, Chris Matthews essentially asked was, if there is a law, and the law is broken should there be a consequence? Should we pick & choose the laws we should obey? From the moment Trump entered the race, he has stated, “We are a nation of laws” and he stands by this. This was a gotcha question with a no -win answer. Trump’s answer should have been, “No, I won’t be on your show , but he’s not a coward nor a politician with slick, canned, feel good answers to inane questions from clowns like Matthews. I’m a professional woman who regards words and misspeaks as just that. As a Christian, I regard actions & good works. I was touched by the exchange between Donald Trump and the very beautiful former Miss Wisconsin who is dying of a rare disease. She was diagnosed during the Miss USA competition & Trump set up a college fund for her 7 yr. old son when he becomes 17. She profusely thanked him at his rally. He stepped down from the stage to embrace her and promised to watch over her son – and he will. He has done many acts of kindness from sending his private 757 to transport a sick child for medical treatment to paying the mortgage of a mechanic who repaired his limo that broke down on the roadside. I have yet to read or hear that Ted Cruz, the good Christian who quotes and totes the Bible, has ever done these good works. I do know that he’s used dirty tricks, lies, and continual verbal abuse against Donald Trump; going as far as saying he doesn’t know which pedal he’d hit if he saw Donald Trump in his rear view mirror. He never knows what his campaign or PAC has done & it’s always someone else’s fault. Kasich is too busy calling a police officer doing his job, an idiot. Now, who’s the Christian, here?

Cruz is a typical politician who does nothing more than disparage an opponent, create a smokescreen to avoid issues and never gives us his SOLUTIONS to the seemingly endless amount of problems we face as a country. Fortunately Trump is not beholden to anyone. We finally have a choice for someone who is not a politician. I have never seen these politicians stoop so low. Even to the point of sending in people to disrupt a campaign rally. They are afraid. Let’s not blow the opportunity we have!

    Ted Cruz you are liar.
He corrected his answer when he realized he didn’t understand the qiestion. He would penalize the Doctors not the women. You know that’s what he meant but go ahead Lying Cruz go ahead and continue to make yourself and your nose grow and grow and grow. Let’s get the answer on your affairs. Oh that’s right you can’t answer that because you would have to say yes. Shame shame on you.

As for Trump being “Set Up,” why is it that whenever he says something stupid you Trumpsters assume some sinister motive? Maybe he’s just not that smart or well informed. Are you “conservatives” now claiming that housing and healthcare are in the constitution?

    March 31, 2016,7:47 pm

  15. Larry Disney

Poor Donald, who could EVER have predicted he would be asked about abortion? I’m sure he’s given it lots of thought since he completely changed his position a year or two ago. Of course for a guy who was a Clinton Democrat until he decided to run as a Republican I’m sure pretending to be a conservative is very confusing.

Glad other people hear that he answered the hypothetical question correctly. Everyone but Trump is PC in his pretending.

    March 31, 2016,6:17 pm

  21. Cathy Therrell

Well good to hear that other people know he answered the hypothetical question correctly. If something is illegal, is broken – punishment follows. Hypothetically speaking, we are pretending. Are we politically correct now in our pretending?

  22. Michelle Gilman

Cruz should go back to Canada…. Trump 2016…

    March 31, 2016,5:28 pm

  23. Pierre Mascia

Of course Trump is not a politician so he doesn’t know how to lie like Cruz. I rather have Trump who can’t be bought or influenced by the elites, I rather a candidate who corrects himself and not somebody who pretends to be evangelical and conservative and asking the support of evangelical and free masons at the same time, that doesn’t blend together, he’s a mason NOT and evangelical. So Cruz, be honest, I’m sick and tired of the lies of politicians, and I’m considering not voting in this election if my vote means nothing in the end. Republicans have majority in Congress and Senate and have done nothing, stop Trump? More like stop lying.

Trump a real president? I don’t think so. He has no plans or policies, just talk. He can not be trusted at all unless it has something to do with putting money in his pocket.

  27. Pedro Perez

Cruz says the woman is dignified by having an abortion? That is murder mr Cruz.
