LAURA Holmes let me clue you in. Your son was not born homosexual that is a lifestyle he and other people choose to live. God does not create people to be that way. God intended one man and one woman to be together. Its also a sin to live that lifestyle and your son, on top of accepting God in his heart will have to repent and change his lifestyle to get into Gods kingdom.

Governor McCrory, you are in my prayers, too. I hope and pray that you learn to be a human and not a hypocrite before you meet GOD! The grammar in these posts is atrocious. It speaks volumes about the education system in this country as well.

I am a strong, conservative, and Christian woman, who also happens to be the proud mother of a homosexual son. My son is a beautiful, compassionate, loving, kind, and gentle contributing member to America’s society. I am sick and tired of people sitting in judgment of others when the bible clearly states that we, as Christians, do not have the right to do so. All of us are sinners and fall short of the Glory of God! I think that America has many pressing concerns for our childrens’ future (jobs, the economy, and terrorism), and yet the legislators sit atop their high horses passing discriminatory legislation under a guise of protecting people. These laws are fiction because the crime statistics do not back them up. The media and states don’t want citizens to know that these laws go much further than just a bathroom “thing”. They keep the LGBT community from being hired and they can be fired as well as denied medical services and other important services due to their sexual orientation. How dare any of you try to take my son’s right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness! Knock it off, you are the reason many people are turning away from Christianity when clearly the bible states that we, as Christians, should try to bring people to Christ. Get real! This is America! Mr. Trump is a hero for protecting basic human rights. He is the right candidate at the right time for America!

Truthfully, how does anyone know the sex of anyone these days?? Let em uses the toilet of their choice. They’re in the stall so as long as all the girls and boys keep their junk private.

It’s never right for a man to use the ladies bathroom. It’s a matter of privacy plus the lousy possibilities of scuzbags looking for a freebie. Smarten up!

This is nothing more than pandering to perversion & potential predators & all DECENT MORAL individuals will use the correct facility!

You are only “hurting yourselves” if you agree with the NC law. Transgender people have no more “control” over their gender then “asking to be born!” It is not a matter of “liberal” vs.conservative!!!!”

We can solve this. Test out allowing gays to use any bathroom, in all political offices. Don’t think, the issue will come up again.

I am sure the biggest problem we have are gay men in a bathroom with male children. How do you solve that? Probably best to have one at a time bathrooms wherever possible.

I totally agree!!!!!!!!!!! This stands against the unisex bathrooms they are trying to start in multiple states. The Unisex bathrooms would be where the MAJOR ISSUES with perversion would come into play. There is and always will be perversion, the is promised, but we must stand strong and uphold the moral and religious values this country was founded upon. Your children and grand-children are much safer in the bathrooms meant for them, for the sex they were born with, not for trans-gendered or unisex bathrooms, THAT is where the major problems would exist—but keep in mind, the world is a wicked place, and you must ALWAYS BE VIGILANT with our children, there are registered female sex offenders also—sickness is not gender prejudiced!!!!

I these perverts get their, how many young girls will be raped? These idiot lawmakers; would they allow their kids subjected to such dangers? I think not!!!!!!!!!!

This is about safety. WHO cares what the LGBTs do? I don’t, but I don’t want to share a shower or bath with a man. No matter WHAT he things he is.

Little girls forced to go to the bathroom beside som perverted, mentally deranged man or boy makes no logical sence to me.

  18. George Edward Larney

I am sure the Founding Fathers would be flummoxed to learn the state of our politics today – the stupidity of political discourse among our leaders and their inability to focus on our real problems – the proper role of government, the functioning of our economy, our foreign alliances and above all the safety of our nation. When asked after the Constitutional Convention what was achieved, Benjamin Franklin replied, ” a Republic if we can keep it.” When we in this nation feel the need to pass laws governing the use of public bathrooms it is a wonder that we can keep any form of rational governance. This law is a metaphor for our country going down the drain. George E. Larney

Yep. We are who we are. Male or female with the appropriate plumbing. The reason? Old biblical reason from the Lord. “Go forth and multiply”. Procreation! No matter how anyone tries to screw with it, it takes a male and a female to make a new human. Good for him. How dare these minority factions insist we celebrate as they do. According to what I see going on out there the LBGQQ whatever think they are the only ones who have the right to be who they are. Who the heck are they to try and desexualize our little kids as far back now as nursery school. God loves North Carolinas govenor.

The real stupidity here is that there is a very vocal minority that wants laws written specifically to pander to their whims thereby creating the situation in which a law like this has to be written. There once was a morality to people that no longer exists. It is not “normal” for males to use the same facilities as females at the same time and allowing “gender privacy” used to be considered as “proper ettiquette”

  21. Janet

This law is useless and does nothing but create a poor image for NC. Who is going to be checking a person’s genitals and / or birth certificate to see if they belong in a certain restroom? If a person who was born male, but now looks just like a female, is forced to use the men’s restroom It is going to cause a lot of problems and maybe violence. Clearly, these lawmakers didn’t think things through at all.

  22. charlene sullins

I agree with the law, girls who say they are boys and vs. versa shouldn’t be allowed to use the bathroom opposite of their gender.

    Most stupid thing yet
