Last Testament of Conservative Matriarch Phyllis Schlafly, Defending Trump, Lands on Bestseller List

Bestseller List is for week of September 8-14, 2016

WASHINGTON, DC – A day before her new book appeared on bookshelves, conservative matriarch Phyllis Schlafly passed away after 50 plus years of fighting on behalf of numerous conservative causes.  In her last testament, Schlafly makes a passionate case for the candidacy of Donald Trump in The Conservative Case for Trump (co-authored by Ed Martin and Brett M. Decker).  Many believe her support helped Trump win the support of many social conservatives in the GOP presidential primary.

Phyllis Schlafly was the founder of Eagle Forum – one of the first leading organizations in the pro-family movement, which single-handedly defeated the controversial Equal Rights Amendment (ERA).  She also wrote numerous books, including the landmark A Choice, Not an Echo, which helped bolster the presidential candidacy of Barry Goldwater.

“The conservative movement lost a leader and a legend this past week, but America lost a heroine who fought against liberal feminism and supported traditional family values unapologetically,” said Christopher N. Malagisi, Editor in Chief of the Conservative Book Club.  “In a touching eulogy, Donald Trump praised Schlafly for her early support that helped made other social conservatives feel comfortable in supporting a Trump candidacy.”
