“The Resurrection of Gavin Stone”: A Movie Comedy For Christians

Movie comedies don’t normally offer much to Christian audiences, but one movie, coming out this January, wants to break that mold.

“The Resurrection of Gavin Stone” centers around the titular Gavin Stone, a washed-up child actor forced to do community service at a local megachurch. His initial plan is to resurrect his career by faking his faith and landing the role of Jesus in the church’s Passion play — but his greatest role is yet to come.
