The rapidly developing role of women as victim, is accelerating. To have your livelhood revoked on the basis of allegation alone is criminal. Any male can now lose his job just by having two of her friends allege sexual harassment. The icing on the cake is, their idenity is protected
Their idenity is protected. I’m disoriented. Are we sll in Stalinist Russia?

Bill seems like a stand-up guy. I will hold judgment. Gut says no. He and his show have exposed the lunacy of the far left.

the mere fact that settlements were paid does not prove anything also these were civil cases, so use of word “guilty” is inaccurate at best he has never been charged criminially about this conduct as far as we know

I totally concur that he should not have paid these women a dime. Just today, we discover that Devin Nunes stepped down as the chair of the house judiciary committee investigating the Russia debacle. The Democrats are getting their way (Michael Flynn (who I am not sure I trust anymore), Jeff Sessions, and now Devin Nunes). They are taking out one conservative after another. The problem is that the conservatives are buckling to the pressure. They need to stand firm and quit cowering to these immature stooges.

Mr O’Reilly is human and might be prone to…………? Again, why pay out that large sum of money? (aside from having to pay his attorney’s fees if he were to have contested the charges)

Oh, and BTW, I don’t flirt. I am a no-nonsense kind of girl! For someone who does not know me, you are awfully ignorant to say such a crazy thing!

Pat Kennedy, I have witnessed just as many women flirting with men in the workplace as men flirting with women. You are living is a sad state of delusional if you, somehow, think that this does not occur. The whole 80 cents on the dollar thing. Really? You must be a Democrat trying to deflect away from the real problems of the U.S. Go to the middle east as a woman and you will find a real war on women to fight. Stand up for them! Fact-based conversation is not defensive. You may want to look up the word “defensive” in the dictionary if you have one.

    April 6, 2017,12:11 pm

  15. Pat Kennedy

Laura G. Holmes your flirting in a man’s workplace is the reason we have these laws, some men don’t know when to quit. And I am sure if you remember instead of getting all defensive you would see it is a problem and women only make 80 cents on the dollar to this day!

The threshold for sexual harassment is low in the workplace, especially superior and subordinate. I was part of the grand sexual harassment suit on Mitsubishi Motors in Normal, Illinois. They settled for millions, though sexual harassment was more like high school frolics.

Carol Zimmerman, Could you please try to get your facts straight before you post falsehoods? Bill O’Reilly has been married once and he caught his wife cheating on him. This does not excuse violence, but she is not innocent in the equation. You people just want to go with a narrative and hope that it sticks to the wall. Americans are not stupid! They voted for Trump in spite of the NBC Billy Bush tape. They know that he was just showing off in front his guy friends. It is an ego thing! People on the left have actually compared O’Reilly to Bill Cosby. There are just no lengths that these idiots will go to to destroy someone’s character. Can we please, as a country, get on with the business of the country and stop becoming embroiled in these ridiculous sideshows. If things continue the way they are, I am concerned that a Civil War may be looming. The world is burning and the democrats are still doing this crap! I am so sick of it. The whole system of media and government need to go. The tables need to be turned over in the temple!

Women need to get a grip. When you work in an office full of men, they will flirt with you. It happens all the time. You cannot take it seriously! I watch the O’Reilly Factor every night. If I miss it at 8:00 p.m., I watch it at 11:00 p.m. This is the one show during my busy day that I insist on watching. I don’t always agree with Bill O’Reilly, but he tries to stay honest and in the middle. I appreciate that in a world of false media. A well-known liberal sent out a tweet the other day stating that it was her goal to remove O’Reilly and then move on to remove the president. This is all a ploy on the part of the media and liberals to take out Trump and O’Reilly at a time when we need these people as the voices of reason. I do, however, wish that he had not paid these women a dime. I would have fought them tooth and nail to the finish to establish innocence. I understand that he did not want to subject his children to the bloodbath in the media. These people are demonic and will stop at nothing to undermine Trump and the conservative movement in America. It is really sickening!

The corrupt left will always be the corrupt left. Men and Women like Bill O’Reilly are always gonna be the target of fake news. The Corrupt Left are whining sore loosers..

This is not the first time the left has gone after Bill O’Reilly, as we all know. This past week, liberal Ted Koppel demeaned O’Hannity by saying his show has had no value & then failed to release the entire transcript of the interview. The corrupt left would say just about anything to have these two Irishmen disappear from the airwaves.

I fully support the comments of Carol Zimmerman and Gretchen below. It is far time that we take seriously the misogynist patterns of wealthy, famous, “powerful” men such as Bill O’Reilly and Donald Trump (who, quite conveniently, serve as apologists for each other). I am indeed quite fascinated and deeply disturbed to read some of your comments.

At least five women…none of which was poor. One was a news anchor at Fox for at least 8 years. 13 sponsors have now pulled their advertising in the past two days.

  24. Carol Zimmerman

He has had this pattern for years and years. His wives have divorced him, his children didn’t even want to see him, he beat up one of his wives, he lost custody of his children. How much more “evidence” do you need? He has obviously crossed the line on numerous occasions. Quit kidding yourself – just because you like his show – doesn’t make him NOT a sexual predator. Let’s not be stupid about this, folks.

I’m a faithful FOX viewer. Bill O’Reilly has made settlements in the past, and I wouldn’t be surprised, if he’s been harassing women again. In order to have a case, there must be evidence. It is a crime when someone uses their power to harass women and put the employees job on the line. Roger Ailes and Bill O’Reilly have been doing this for years. No woman should be required to put up with harassment, so their career isn’t jeprodized. Believe the women!

    April 5, 2017,8:05 pm

  28. Ruby Williams

No way. These immodest, scantily dressed.women are angry because O’Reilly is too smart to take the bait. A wealthy attractive man like O’Reilly has no need to stoop to that level to get a woman. I feel sure they were disappointed when he failed to find them irresistible. To me, they are disgusting. They should do a good job and work for a living instead of resorting to character assassination of an honorable man!

Bill has no reason to ever be charged like this. Someone is jealous
& is trying to destroy him. Jut like they are trying to do to our great
leader for this great Country. I wish they would leave the Fox Family
alone Its the only station on the whole net work

    April 5, 2017,7:37 pm

  30. Peggy

A couple of women scorned women from Fox targeted Roger Ailes and now Oreilly. Shame on these women. They were losing ratings on their shows! They are participating in trying to bring down our only news station of any value. If I had sued every man/business who said something “iffy”!to me, I would be rich! Ridiculous; nothing but jealousy!

  33. Carol Marchant

I know it is not news. I doubt it is fake news. I figure it is just an outright lie for money.

    April 5, 2017,6:58 pm

  34. Wilma Turcotte

Why is it that only people with money do anything to get sued? I think Fox has to do a better job of screening these female news contributors. People pay cause it costs more to fight and the ones that sue know it. Not to mention the negative news and putting your family through it as well.

    April 5, 2017,6:34 pm

  35. Robert Knaapen

I am a die hard conservative. My question as was asked previously WHY any pay out? If I believe that I did not behave in any miss-doing on any given issue whatever that might be, I would certainly not pay out any form of payment. This sounds as “hush money”. Either way, it certainly leaves a tint on Mr. O’Reilly. How deep a tint at this point not know. Perhaps/possibly time might determine.

    April 5, 2017,6:15 pm

  36. Bill

Absolutely not ! Mr. O’Reilly is much too intelligent to be caught in such an ancient ploy… This is another premium example of the get rich quick; litigious society we live in today !!

I GUESS THE “GOLD DIGGERS” are on the way back.

    April 5, 2017,5:07 pm

  38. Nanette

Billy Graham, VP Pence and many other Christian men have strong standards in this area. Very smart and safe guard against these accusations. Maintain integrity in your life and even when others accuse, they will have no power. Men stay true to your wife. Honor God and HE will honor you.

    April 5, 2017,4:57 pm

  39. David McQueen

Women know they can get rich simply by accusing a well-known public figure of “sexual harassment”. Back in the day, those women were called “gold diggers” but now, they are called “victims” by a liberal biased media. I hope these women eventually get what is coming to them: a few years in prison as Big Bertha’s bitch.

More fake news from the left I don’t believe anything they say!

    April 5, 2017,4:55 pm

  41. Sherry Berg

Easier to settle than fight in this world. If you just look at a woman wrong nowadays its sexual harassment. Women need to grow up and find out what true sexual harassment is. If a man threatens you with your job for sex then yes that is sexual harassment if he looks at you and says an off color joke either laugh or tell him you don’t like that. Big deal.

    April 5, 2017,4:48 pm

If not guilty then why the $10M from O’Reilly personally & $3M from Fox to settle the case(s).
