Democrats, get over it. Donald Trump is our president whether you like it or not. If the Democrats in congress will pull their heads out of their posterior and work with the President and help solve the problems our nation has this whole world would be a better pace for all of us. Crying Chuck Schumer the wallowing in his pity needs to wake up and smell the coffee. He is the most disgusting individual I have ever seen in congress. WHAT a scum bag.

It crossed my mind that the last time with Pres. RR that the public learned how well the free market worked so well that a lot of people such as myself changed parties because we saw the results for ourselves.

A consumption tax would be the best, but Trump’s proposal is an excellent first step to quickly get the economy growing. Trying to get anything passed in Congress is like herding 635 cats — damned near impossible. True tax “reform” requires a Constitutional Amendment, to prevent even worse runaway government spending, which is even more difficult.

I don’t know for sure about this plan. For the last 5 years my medical expenses were higher than the standard deduction. Looks to me like the working poor may continue to be worse off than before . It’s been a very hard time lately economically for a lot of people. The cost of living keeps going up and wages are flat. My o my last year the government gave the people on SS a .3% COL increase and took ever penny of it for Medicare price increase. By the way Medicare isn’t free. The average retiree pays over $200/mo. and Medicare doesn’t cover a lot of prescriptions until you’ve paid out of pocket 5K. Obamacare has wrecked the average ( paying) citizens healthcare expenses. But it’s done what it was designed to do to force single payer health care into existing. Proponents say Canada’s System is so great. Their citizens wait months for lots of services and pay lots of taxes. Retirees don’t look to be getting any tax break at all under the new plan!!! But yet we’ve got money to give the Dreamers And Refugees more than citizens who have contributed to society their whole life.

Reduce or eliminate corporate taxes…close loop holes. Bottom line, those who benefit (or have benefitted) the most under our system of government, those with the most to lose, should proportionately pay the most. It’s that simple. Our current tax system is an abomination of laws created for special interests.

Yes. A consumption tax would only encourage cash or barter transactions. Congress needs to wake up and support our president.

people are so hung up on rich people making money, thank god for them, where would the jobs come from to paytaxes, they more and pay their fair share of taxes, the loopholes where taken out of the income taxes for the rich, so buying a new piece of equipment at the end of year or whatever won’t help them a bit, whats hurtin this country Is the spongers coming in and especting free room and board free medical, build more schools hire more teachers, so the elites can have slaves for cheap

If Trump devised a way to turn dirt into gold, the democrats would fine a reason to put it down or would say it is only for the rich people – even if Trump put it into the public domain. When will democrats become Americans firstg?
