Was CNN Right To Fire Jeffrey Lord?

by Bradley Matthews

Pro-Trump commentator Jeffrey Lord, author of What America Needs, has been fired after tweeting “Sieg Heil!” at Media Matters president Angelo Carusone. CNN and liberals allege that Lord is a Nazi, while Lord and his defenders say that he was clearly joking — Carusone was responding to an article that called his organization “Media Matters Fascists”.

Was Jeffrey Lord joking or not? Was CNN right to fire him? See the tweets and vote in our CBC reader poll!

I am glad that Angelo Carusone is not going to work for this NASTY, fake organization. He is the nicest and smartest guy. He deserves to work in a better, truthful company where he can freely express his ideas and be respected. CNN is fake and filled with idiots!

If the so-called media watchdog Angelo Carusone of Media Matters is being truthful in saying Jeffrey Lord doesn’t take himself seriously, then why did he sit back and let CNN fire Lord? If Lord wasn’t serious about what he said in that tweet to Carusone, then CNN should have recognized that he did what he did with no malice toward anyone. Lighten up, CNN. Jeffrey Lord wasn’t serious about what he tweeted and that is backed up by a guy you trust and rely on for information, ie: Angelo Carusone.

Typically, when CNN says or does something, it’s either wrong or a lie.
