Doug Stanton’s other book, Horse Soldiers: The Extraordinary Story of a Band of US Soldiers Who Rode to Victory in Afghanistan, is being made into a Hollywood movie in 2018, starring Chris Hemsworth and Michael Shannon, and will be directed by Jerry Bruckheimer.
