Moana, Polynesian Princess? Not so fast, kids. According to the Left, no matter how much your child loves singing the songs from Moana and admires the diverse Disney princess that everyone fought so hard for, you’re not allowed to dress up as Moana if you’re white.
Don’t even think about being her demi-god guide Maui either. Disney caved to pressure with their Maui costume a while ago, removing the skin covering that featured tanned skin and tattoos so that kids wouldn’t be “appropriating” the character.
