Maggie Mitchell was a looker, and so when she found herself on the Marshall Theatre stage, it was no surprise when she fell in with John Wilkes Booth. It was even rumored that they were once engaged.
Later, it was reported that she would dream about having been there at the Ford Theater on the night of the assassination. She would later marry several times and died in 1918.
