All good conservatives know there’s no such thing as a free lunch. Ever tried to count how many Google searches you type in a day? Google Maps, Gmail, Google Hangouts, and even Google Docs are all also free.
How can this “free lunch” possibly work? Google puts a massive amount of information in one place, writes computer programs to help you find what you want, and then sells information about you to advertisers. The advertisers can then tailor ads to particular types of people. Ideally, you should see ads for things you actually want…but instead, you see ads from whatever company bid the highest for your information.
