**Exclusive CBC Author Interview with Kevin Ring**

Kevin Ring brings more than 20 years of conservative public policy, campaign, and issue advocacy experience as Vice President of Families Against Mandatory Minimums (FAMM).

He began his career in Washington, DC as a legislative aide on Capitol Hill. During his tenure, he served as counsel to the Senate Judiciary’s Constitution, Federalism, and Property Rights Subcommittee under the leadership of future US Attorney General John Ashcroft. He also served as executive director for the Republican Study Committee, the largest member organization in the US House of Representatives.

Kevin became a lobbyist in 1999 and was twice named one of K Street’s Top Lobbyists. He is the author of Scalia Dissents: Writings of the Supreme Court’s Wittiest, Most Outspoken Justice (Regnery). Kevin is a graduate of Syracuse University and The Columbus School of Law at Catholic University of America in Washington, DC.
