Kathleen Parker

Kathleen Parker is a columnist whose twice-weekly column is nationally syndicated by The Washington Post to more than four hundred newspapers. An H. L. Mencken Writing Award winner, she frequently appears on radio talk shows and is a regular guest on The Chris Matthews Show.

Parker grew up in Winter Haven, Florida. She attended Converse College before transferring to Florida State University, where she majored in Spanish literature. She holds a Master’s degree in the subject from Florida State.

She is married to an attorney, has one son and two stepsons and resides in Camden, South Carolina.
