Andrew Breitbart was an American conservative publisher, writer for The Washington Times, author, and occasional guest commentator on various news programs. He served as an editor for the Drudge Report website, was a researcher for Arianna Huffington, and played a central role in launching The Huffington Post. He was the owner of the eponymous Breitbart.com, a news aggregation site.

Born in Los Angeles, Breitbart earned a degree in American Studies from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was married to Susannah Beam from 1997 until his death in 2012, and the couple has four children.
