Cheryl Chumley

Cheryl Chumley is an author, writer and speaker, passionate about topics related to politics and policy, as viewed through a Judeo-Christian prism.

She writes daily for her author and news site, www.CherylChumley.com. But her ongoing and previous publication credits include PamelaGeller.com, the Blaze, the Washington Times, Lifezette, Newsmax, the Washington Examiner and more. She previously worked as a full-time news writer for the Washington Times and WND, and was selected as a Robert Novak Journalism fellow, where she spent a year researching and writing about National Heritage Areas and private property rights. She’s also a skilled media guest and public speaker, and has appeared on hundreds of national and local television and radio shows, from Fox News and CSPAN to Tammy Bruce radio and Michael Savage radio, to discuss her research, findings and reports.

Her most recent book, “The Devil in DC: Winning Back the Country From the Beast in Washington,” with a foreword by Mike Huckabee, former governor and presidential hopeful, tells Christians and patriots how to put the nation back under God’s control while wrenching power from the atheists, progressives and elitist politicians who’ve taken root.

“Devil in DC” is the solution-oriented followup to her first book, “Police State USA: How Orwell’s Nightmare Is Becoming Our Reality,” foreword by Rep. Louie Gohmert, which looks at the myriad ways in which federal, state and local authorities have stolen America’s greatest asset — the fact our rights come from God, not government.

Cheryl is an active Army veteran who currently lives in Northern Virginia with her husband, their four children, and their Golden Retriever, Black Lab and cat.
