David Horowitz

David Horowitz is a lifelong civil rights activist and was a founder of the New Left movement in the 1960s. He was the editor of its largest magazine, Ramparts, before becoming disillusioned by the New Left movement.

He has written numerous books, including the New York Times bestsellers Unholy Alliance and Radical Son, his celebrated autobiography. Most recently, he has published The Black Book of the American Left, a ten-volume study that promises to be the definitive work on that subject.

He is president of the David Horowitz Freedom Center and founder of the online newsmagazine FrontPageMag.com. Horowitz has appeared on Nightline, The Today Show, Good Morning America, Hannity, The O’Reilly Factor, and many other programs. He lives in California.
