James V. Lacy

JAMES V. LACY, is a frequent guest on Fox Business News Channel’s “Varney & Company,” and appears on CNN/CNNi, France 24 and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.  His first book, “Taxifornia, Liberals Laboratory to Bankrupt America” was a Politico.com bestseller.

Lacy, a skilled election lawyer, served as a General Counsel in the Reagan Administration.  He was a delegate from California for Reagan in 1976 and Donald Trump in 2016 to the Republican National Convention.

Lacy has broad experience in election law and national public policy, and often writes and comments about California politics.  He was principle author and editor of “Taxifornia 2016.”
