Martin Sieff is the chief news analyst of United Press International. He has reported from the Middle East for thirty years. In addition, he was State Department bureau chief for the Washington Times and has reported for National Review, Jerusalem Post and the American Conservative. He has received three nominations for the Pulitzer Prize for International Reporting.
Mr. Sieff received his Masters in Modern History from Oxford University in 1972 specializing in modern U.S. history and studied 20th century Middle East history at the London School of Economics.
Mr. Sieff is based out of Washington, D.C.
