Neal Freeman

Neal B. Freeman is chairman of The Blackwell Corporation, an advisory firm with clients in the communications, defense, and wealth-management businesses. As a television producer, Mr. Freeman has produced more than a thousand programs for national broadcast, and has won many awards for journalistic excellence, including the George Foster Peabody Award and the Emmy.

The former Hearst Corporation executive and director of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting is currently chairman of the Robert Novak Journalism Fellowship Program. Mr. Freeman was associated for many years with the late William F. Buckley Jr. in various publishing, broadcasting and political ventures, serving as a director of National Review, Inc. for 38 years.

He is currently the Chairman of the Robert J. Novak Journalism Fellowship Program at The Fund for American Studies.
