Dear GOD, NO! A thousand times, NO! Cleaning up the VA is one of the biggest — and toughest — jobs facing the Trump Administration. It will require a SUPER-manager, one who really knows how to whip a slow-moving bureaucracy into shape, and Sarah Palin has absolutely NO relevant experience. (Her staff when she was governor of Alaska was maybe 20 people; at the VA she’d be in charge of 20,000!) Also, it’s downright OFFENSIVE to America’s veterans to put the VA in the hands of SOMEONE WHO HAS NEVER SERVED! Having a son or son-in-law in the service is NOT the same thing. Sarah Palin is NOT a veteran, and it’d be a slap in the face of EVERY veteran to put her in charge of their welfare. NO, NO, a THOUSAND TIMES NO!

She should just go away, she a joke
December 7, 2016,9:46 pm
Sarah is a great choice for the job.
December 5, 2016,6:11 pm
Sarah Palin is a good choice for the job, but we believe Scott Brown
would be better.
December 4, 2016,8:43 pm
Perfect pick, she is very sharp and very inteligent and will handle the job the best she can.
December 4, 2016,8:05 pm
Sarah WANTS the job, and when a hard-working driven person like her WANTS a job, it’s a good bet they will take it seriously, apply themselves 100%, and get some real results!

very smart for govt. business

Dan Is the Best Candidate over Scott Brown, Jeff Miller or Sarah Palin for Secretary of Veterans Affairs here’s why.
1. The first 120 days, Dan will close all VA Hospitals allowing veterans to use local doctors and hospitals of their choice with no co- pay or deductible.
2. The second 120 days Dan shall settle ALL backlogs claims and Appeals of 420,000 filed by veterans for disability benefits.
3. The Third 120 days Dan shall simplify/ rewrite the VA’s Administrative rules/ regulations so that our VA system will never “ever” be backlogged again.
4. None of the above candidates can get the job done and give the veterans better care and benefits in a timely manner. And, at the same time, save more than 3 trillion taxpayer dollars that can be used to build up our depleting military.
Dan has 35 years’ experience processing benefits claims in product liability, Medical Malpractice, Hospital Risk Management, Audits and investigation, Fidelity/ Fiduciary Investigation, Workers’ Compensation, Legal Malpractice, Fraud Investigation, Medical Mal-Practice, Aviation liability, Hospital Mal-Practice, Construction and OHSA regulations. Dan was a member of the US Army graduating top in his class with a top-secret clearance.
Dan Martinez objective is to [drain the swamp of corruption] within the Veterans Administration and pilot a program to close VA hospitals, transferring ALL care to local hospitals, to assure veterans get the immediate medical care they need. Dan advocates simplifying VA language and administrative laws/procedures to make it easier for disability payments/ benefits to be paid to Veterans.
Robert Mc Donald is unfit to be secretary of Veterans Affair. 22 veterans die every day because of Mc Donald’s poor leadership in providing veterans the proper care and benefits. Example 8 Veterans were sexually assaulted by a VA Doctor while seeking treatment for PTSD. Under Martinez’s Administration, not one veteran will die for the lack of not receiving prompt medical treatment or experiencing sexual assault. For example; 22 Veterans die every day X 362 days = 8,030 deaths. If you multiple by 10 years, a total of 80,300 veterans have died. This will STOP when Dan is chosen as Secretary of veterans affairs.
Dan will save tax-payers 3 trillion dollars in 10 years. At the same time, Veterans will receive higher benefits for their disabilities and better medical care.
This savings can be used to bring down our national deficient or to be used to support Trump’s infrastructure plan in creating Jobs.
Call your state representative or Donald Trump to let them know about Dan Martinez for Secretary for the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Dan hold a BS in administration and has attended President School of Law. Dan is the CEO and founder of ICC Administrators and he knows what it takes to negotiate benefits and run a better Veterans Administration.
Dan Martinez ICC, CEO

Yeah,, She’d be a excellent choice..
December 4, 2016,9:52 am
Scott Brown ONLY CARED about being pro-choice when he ran against Warren and Shaheen so No Scott you bet I’d rather have Sarah!
December 4, 2016,9:47 am
Sarah Palin resigned as Alaska Governor. I don’t think she had the staying power to handle such an important and stressful job.
December 4, 2016,7:03 am
SARA PALIN SEEMS LIKE A NICE PERSON. BUT I REALLY DON’T THINK SHE HAS THE TIME TO BE TRUMPS VA SECRETARY. SHE HAS A SPECIAL NEEDS CHILD THAT DEMANDS A LOT OF ATTENTION. THEREFORE WOULD SAY NO.
December 4, 2016,2:04 am
She could have been VP under Mccain if the party would have back her.
December 3, 2016,9:01 pm
Palin attacked Trump’s honor and credibility conserning the Carrier deal TODAY on Fox. Hateful comments about him. Our veterans deserve better! She is on the wrong side!!
December 3, 2016,8:15 pm
I read someone suggested Mitt Romney to head the Veteran’s Administration. He has experience turning failing companies into successes and saved the SLC Winter Olympics. The VA needs someone who can turn it around and make it what our veterans deserve. I think Mitt and the VA could be a match made in Heaven.
December 3, 2016,7:12 pm
Sarah Palin, in my opinion, doesn’t have the mental capacity to handle the Department of Veterans Affairs. She has shown herself, on many occasions, to be a whacko, both morally and intellectually.
I am a veteran WHO (not THAT) served his country faithfully. Please don’t do this to us.
December 3, 2016,6:45 pm
December 3, 2016,6:09 pm
I like her and think she would certainly do better than most. I am also a vet.
December 3, 2016,6:04 pm
As a veteran WAF (USAF) I don’t want her near anything to do with veterans affairs. Everybody knows a job like that would require some reading (and understanding of what she’s reading) and she can’t do that. Puleeze!
December 3, 2016,5:45 pm
Are you out of your Collective Minds The Woman couldn’t even run Alaska and you wanted to run the VA give me a break
December 3, 2016,5:43 pm
She Has already accused Trump of Croney Capitalism when she heard what He did for Carrier . I think She would get into a Lot of Trouble with that Mouth of hers . She would insist to Trump that she is right and he is wrong.
December 3, 2016,4:50 pm
Sara Palin was cheated by McCain when he ran for president. She stole the show from him and he put her in a motel afterwards. She has been a faithful republican and has the values we share. She should definitely have a chance to “let her light shine.” Would be a great pick.
December 3, 2016,4:22 pm
She had a high approval rating as Governor of Alaska throughout her term. Anyone refusing to recognize that fact is a brainwashed msm mouthpiece.
December 3, 2016,4:02 pm
No!!! She is a little nitwit ,with a big mouth, who only cares about promoting herself.
December 3, 2016,2:51 pm
She is a laughing stock, & not very bright.
December 3, 2016,2:38 pm
Sarah Palin would be excellent. She has great management skills and is able to speak to the department and the press. A military person would also be great. Whoever is selected should be someone who will reform the VA, provide support to the veterans for their entire life without asking for money; after all they did put their lives on the line for all of us to live in this great country!. We use the VA Mather and all the people and staff are excellent and we are grateful for all of their help throughout the years. Keep doing this!
December 3, 2016,2:27 pm
Conservative & strong. I trust her.
December 3, 2016,2:18 pm
I would prefer Gary Sinuse but Sarah would be okay. As a veteran I want someone who is more that an dept head with all the “book Learnin’) I want someone who respects and love the military men and women and is sensitive to their needs.
December 3, 2016,2:17 pm
I loved Sarah Palin’s comment at the 2008 Republican National Convention: I was a small-town mayor; that’s kind of like a community organizer except with real responsibilities.
Sarah Palin has a quick wit, she is a great talk show guest, and I’m glad she’s on our side. But she is not a veteran, has no experience in veterans’ affairs, and is not the right choice for this position. The Secretary of Veterans Affairs should be a veteran, or at least a person who has made veterans his/her special concern.
December 3, 2016,1:55 pm
All of the negative hype about Sarah Palin is a direct result of the mainstream media. Surprising the number of people who believe this crap. She is competent, dedicated, and a devoted patriot. NO ONE going into a new position has the experience that many people are whining about. Give her a chance!
December 3, 2016,1:49 pm
I believe it should be a retired military person or someone who has extensive experience with the issues
December 3, 2016,1:46 pm
Gov Rick Perry would do a far better job. Give Palin a deputy of something where she cannot get into trouble.
December 3, 2016,1:46 pm
December 3, 2016,1:37 pm
PLEASE……NO….she has NO experience…..this will take much more than being a Talking Patroit….
December 3, 2016,1:32 pm
Please, can we do away with madame Palin?!
December 3, 2016,1:29 pm
What experience does she have in Veterans Affairs? You really need some one who have worked or working in Veterans Affairs. This position is not for some one who has no clue about Veterans Affairs.
December 3, 2016,1:29 pm
I think we need Romney in this slot rather than State.
December 3, 2016,1:25 pm
Pete Hegseth, particularly or Senator Brown are better fit at VA.
December 3, 2016,1:16 pm
I would like to see Pete Hegseth as head of the VA, he is a veteran and is active in his Vet group, he is knowledgeable on the problems. He cares, and he is pledged to help his fellow vets.
December 3, 2016,1:14 pm
I believe Sara would do a much better job than the present & past Secretaries of Veterans Affairs have done. She is a true Patriot.
December 3, 2016,10:56 am
Palin is a good conservative and will be good at many positions that could be offered to her.
December 3, 2016,9:01 am
Sarah Palin will do just fine as VA secretary ,she is no air head
December 3, 2016,6:00 am
Good grief, people, President-elect Trump has promised to FIX the Department of Veterans Affairs, not make matters WORSE!!!
Sarah Palin is a nice woman and a good soldier, but she has never RUN anything even 10% as BIG or complex as the Department of Veterans’ Affairs. To clean up the MESS the Obamaniks have made of the VA, President Trump will need a really FIRST RATE manager. Sarah Palin is NOT a first-rate manager: she barely qualifies as a LAST-rater in management.
Second, it’s an INSULT to America’s veterans to choose someone to head Veterans Affairs who NEVER SERVED in the military. Sure, Sarah’s son and son-in-law have served, but NOT HER. That’s NOT the right message to send our vets — it’s like saying, “Hey, guys and gals, we thank you for your service and really want to fix the DVA, so I picked someone who never managed ANYTHING even a fraction as large and complex as the DVA, AND who isn’t a vet. What I’m really saying is ‘Vets can’t fix their own problems!'” That’s NOT the message President Trump should WANT to send.
Sarah Palin is an Alaskan; put her in the Interior Dept. (which owns about 90% of Alaska). She probably can’t hurt the polar bears, and THEY won’t be OFFENDED. Don’t slap our military veterans in the face — or condemn them to continuing with a department that doesn’t work — by turning to Sarah to clean it up.

“And, you know, what I want to know is what has John Lewis done since he marched on Selma? Really. He’s riding on the coattails of something that happened over 50 years ago. And it’s just, to me, his position in Congress is illegitimate.”
“You know, we’d even had recounts in this election where the numbers for the president-elect had actually gone up. There’s no question about the legitimacy of this election, and for John Lewis to make those statements is deeply disappointing.” — Mike Pence
