It really doesn’t MATTER who runs the Department of Labor. He/She should be trying to DISMANTLE it. All we really need is the Bureau of Labor Statistics to publish monthly data on employment — the rest is a bureaucratic jumble of offices with NOTHING useful to DO. Acosta served at NLRB and must know the ropes; conservatives on the Hill speak well of him. Let HIM have the job of taking the place apart, brick by brick!

He was appointed to the NLRB by President GW Bush — that’s like a Cabinet appointment but one step lower. Serving as head of a federal agency does NOT mean one is a DEFENDER of that agency — he MIGHT want to DISMANTLE it. There’s NO reason based on Acosta’s overall record to think he’s anything BUT a solid conservative. Quit looking for hobgoblins when it’s 9 months from Halloween!

Any association with the NLRB should be questioned and he needs to be deeper vetted…we know little more than this…
