What color is the sky in your world? Start with the High Priced Dead Wood on the HILL, doing nothing but arguing all the day with designer backdoor loopholes for personal gain. Please give me and the rest of the word a break from the madness. Just do the right thing and keep it moving in the right directions.

We’re working on getting rid of the toxic waste accumulated over the last 8 yrs. Will take at least 8 more years, to purify the system where we have clean air and water again. There still remains residue left in Washington DC that continues to pollute our country.

The EPA is needed, all you trump supporters don’t give damn about the world and trump doesn’t either he only cares about how much money he can put in his pocket when the world dies we die

This country could really be well off if the waste was eliminated; hopefully this will occur in the next 4 years.

Abolish EPA and a lot of other useless abc offices some are double organizations under another name we have too many people drawing federal pay while they are doing nothing but pushing paperwork around they are living a cushioned life off the taxpayer it is time they are forced to get a job other than a federal lifetime cushioned one with benefits

The FDA is a totalitarian organization with career employees that need to be drained from the swamp. These people are little tin-horn dictators. Liquidate the EPA soon, President Trump. They are nothing but a costly, regulations-producing, corrupt band of criminals. Abolish the EPA now! Eliminate the FDA. Defund the NSA. Annihilate the IRS. Eradicate The FED. Extinguish the BLM. Cut the DOEd, DOJ, DOS, HUD, GSA, HHS, DOE, and DOC all by 50% each. Overhaul the SS. Get control of the FBI, CIA, NCTC, and DNI. We have more useless, costly federal agencies that need to be axed. Stop paying dues to the UN. Stop paying any money to nations that do not support us. Slim down the entire federal government by 25%. Build up the DOD. Let’s Make America Great Again (MAGA)!

Yes, because I feel that they have been bought and paid by Big Business. Next should be the FDA , why are the people that work there allowed to own stock in the pharmaceutical co.s?

In 1965 when they started to close everything down here in Calif., everything in this nation has gone to pot all because of the EPA. So with all these candidates running all over place in the Jets and big executives there is no reason for this as people all over the world do the same thing. There is not one of the examples to show how it has worked, just another scam to get our money.

My one problem with the Conservative platform is their lack of concern for the world we are called to steward. Clean up the agency and allow the stewarding of a ur prcious earth to be their only concern. No one can deny the cancer statistics which are a result of bad farming and pollution of our air and water. I am all,for wlimainating Big Pharma control and I don’t believe the EPA should have anything to do with drugs.

Bring back King Coal. No epa employee should be creating law that is Congress’s job

  16. Joseph St.Clair

EPA is a corrupt institution , America should get rid of it , and the Trump administration should out source the review process , big pharma has manipulated their drugs as well as pricing of those exotica drugs !!!
$$$ Ripping off the the whole health insurance system and the V A by over pricing and creating some dangerous drugs not fit for all blood types evil health empire !!!
Plus the EPA creates too many blockages in in manufacturing by overly creating obstacles that blocks the manufacturers from producing !!!

    March 29, 2017,8:12 pm

The EPA is approving dangerous drugs created by BIG Pharma that are making them super wealthy and are responsible for the high cost of Medical Care and Insurance regardless of the Care title ACA, Obama care or a NEW named rplacement,RIGHT???

The EPA still serves a valuable service writing and enforcing environmental laws. We have clean water, clean air thanks to the EPA. What we need to reign in is all the Environmental Protestors over not doing something to protect a lizard depriving the population of a much needed resource. I also think we need the EPA for situations like Detroit so politicians are forced to follow environmental laws and policies.

No reason to keep it, long ago out lived its usefulness!
People do not purchase from companies that pollute, plenty of laws restricting what companies and people can do, so there is no need or use for this agency any longer!

    March 29, 2017,6:48 pm

  20. Danielle L Smartt

Fix it , don’t eliminate it.
Prosecute if someone screws up deliberately.

But without clean water, we all die.

Water bills are already excessively high for most people’s income. $100-250 per month in some cities already.

And clean air is a necessity also, unless you want to be like China.

In the large cities there, most people wear masks when they go outside, and in some areas, even when they are in their home.

Of course, if you want your child to get lead poisoning, cholera or choke to death on exhaust fumes, go ahead and get rid of it.

Just remember, funerals get more expensive every year.

We should be fighting for clean energy, clean air and water. This is our future. Without protections in place we go back in time, when polluting was ok. Harming the earth and environment is not ok. We need to be able to block the polluters at all cost. Unfortunately with Pruitt in charge of the EPA Trump has already abolished the EPA. Science is real, this is not a hoax. Think about your children, their children and on. What will you leave them? You have a responsibility to take care of this planet for them. Your denial is selfish.

No. The EPA is a part of the American gov’t and HAS to protect Americans from environmentally harmful activities eg hydrofracking, toxic imported food items from China, coal mining which is harmful to the coal miners who have a greatly increased risk of black lung disease and premature death and harms local water supplies with toxic runoff from coal mining, etc. The EPA’s former and current employees’ fraudulent and criminal activities must be investigated and fully prosecuted and the EPA must continue keeping Americans safe and healthy forever.

I’m an environmental remediation contractor in Florida. FDEP is always on vacation and does not regulate unlicensed contractors. Just law abiding contractors. And collects our fees.

Yes. Abolish the EPA. Also, abolish the Electronic Log Mandate for Trucking Companies setg to go in effect this fall. It is unfair to EVERYONE in America. They just don’t know it yet. It will have an immediate effect on the millions of Truck Drivers in this country and the companies they work for, especially Independents (There are LOTS of them), hurt productivity and increase costs for everything. Without trucks, nobody gets nothing! Please help us Mr President!

The EPA has been very badly broken over the past 8 years and must be fixed !! It is Not a Political Shill or envoy !! It is only supposed to Factually tend to Environmental issues that are detrimental to the Environment and/or “We The People”!!

We got along with out the EPA for years and years. And what they have done is simply lies and BS. They have not accomplished anything constructive in My State of Washington at all. They have not repair the Dykes along the Puyallup and Carbon Rivers, hey have let the river flood and destroy properties, homes and Dreams. They have done nothing to stop Beach erosion at Oceans Shores, or by North Beach at Willa pa Bay South of Grey s Harbor. They have made it impossible, nearly, to build a home in the Country anywhere in the State claiming a well would interfere with the ground water and Salmon runs? What a bunch of Hog Wash that is. They have imposed a lot of money making fees on individuals, and business and then put the money in the General Fund and not used a penny for what they said they needed it for, Hoods Canal Enhancement fund was a great example, a imposed EPA g=fee on my fishing license. They finally quit that a few years ago. Then they said man made global warming was killing the ell grass, and killing the clams and oysters in South Sound. Hog Wash. itis the septic tanks and no sewage system. There is way to much to even list here that I have witnessed through the years.

I abominate quasi-legislative and quasi-judicial agencies. Such agencies set themselves up as legislature, judge, jury and executioner. Such an agency is the EPA, and always has been. The very first EPA Admin, William Ruckelshaus, disdained the public’s fascination with “TV sets and gadgets.” Lisa Jackson and her immediate successor under the Obama administration were really no different from him, except only in degree.
