I liked what David and Jola both had to say. I have no problem with people that come legally, learn the language, get a job, become a citizen. that is what America has always been about. The illegals are another story.

We moved to the USA in 1988 — LEGALLY — My wife filled a teaching post — that no locals would apply for — in rural California. It took me until OCTOBER 1992 — to get permission to work. It can be done — So YES — I do oppose illegal immigrants. AND NO BENEFITS UNTIL CITIZENSHIP IS EARNED. If we can do it others can as well.

I would love to see all criminal illegals deported. The good ones that are here illegally should also be deported but given an opportunity to return to work here and eventually become citizens but not to suck on the welfare or subsidy roles that us tax payers have to foot the bill. Our country should copy Australia or New Zealand . They require you have a job or ability to work and have enough money to support yourself before they let you in. Why should we have to support immigrants we have enough debt by the crazy politicians already. Drain the Swamp!

Perhaps we should model our immigration laws after Australia’s
or Mexico’s. Break them and go to jail/prison right away.

Why is it that the supporters of illegal immigration only get outraged by US enforcement of our immigration laws and policy? They don’t protest the other nations of the world in enforcement of their much stricter immigration laws and policy. Could they be anti-American? Oh, crud. I just crossed the line and am now on the Watch List of the Political Correctness Police. Yikes!

    May 8, 2017,7:33 pm

  14. Mario Ruffino

When are the supporters of Sanctuary Cities going to understand what the word Illegal means, this is a country of laws ,all laws should be obeyed, not just the ones you want to obey.Put them all in jail for aiding and abetting criminals.

A lot of our own born and bred United States of America citizens are starving, going without medical care, housing, necessary clothing, and education and the snowflakes want to encourage the influx of thousands of illegal refugees to sanctuary cities to flourish on my tax dollar?!!! I think NOT! STAY IN YOUR OWN NATIVE COUNTRY.

City and state officials should be prosecuted for refusing to obey federal law. We had one civil war over keeping the rule of law. Sanctuary cities and states only promote anarchy and that is unconstitutional and treasonous.

Yes and yes they are harboring fugitives of the illegal status that is a crime .

For crimes committed like drugs, gangs, murder, sexual assault, abuse, and re-entering the country after deportation, etc. those individuals need to leave. No federal or state dollars should be allotted to cities who chose not to obey federal and state laws.
