No justification for tax cut for rich top tier. increase would not change their
standard of living. No relief for sole proprietors. There are a number of revenue
sources that would not effect GDP! If average corporate tax is 14% how is there a reduction? Score..middle class 1..high income ..10!!!!!
    I honestly could do better!

They should have made them permanent. Also, the welfare giveaways to those not paying taxes was stupid !

To much for top earners and hurts people needing Ins.

No need for such a massive corporate tax cut. Rushing the bill through means there are a lot of mistakes – mistakes that will lead to newly discovered loopholes. When the tax revenue is less than expected, watch out for what Congress cuts. It won’t be wasteful spending in the Pentagon.

If the money that congress has their paws on was spent where it was supposed to be spent and NOT to those that do NOT deserve it and all the illegals getting free handouts while DEMANDING more plus our social security benefits that I see the illegals coming in with their SSA statements and free ocare! And kept their greedy little hands OUT of the SS money we just MIGHT have money to use that congress doesn’t have to continue stealing from the middle and low income classes to get more to waste! I am so sick of hearing that SS & Medicare are entitlements! Since when do we have the CHOICE to NOT pay into it thru our wages? & self-employed really get socked with 100% instead of 50% pay in! Once again, the rich (who are entitled to collect SS & Medicare even if do not need it) only pay into SS until they pass the wage limits each year! that should have been on every dollar just like Medicare!
Does ANYONE actually do the math for themselves or just blindly take politicians (who are ONLY out for their own betterment folks) word for it and say “if they say it it must be so” DUH! No wonder this country and the world is falling apart so fast!

Love how the DOUBLE standard deductions are NOT actually DOUBLED too! 12,700 & 12,700 does NOT equal 24,000! Who does their math?? Should be 25,400 for married filing joint!!
Single they are “giving” us 12, 000! How generous of them considering it should have been 12,700 and so on (AND don’t forget these numbers are from 2017 standard deduction rates! If truly used what WOULD have been for 2018 _year the so called “doubled” rates go into effect it would have been even HIGHER)

I do not approve of the tax cuts. am extremely conservative, BUT I am not a fan of the tax reform at all. If they had just lowered the big corp rate a little and left EVERYTHING else alone that would have been perfect! Now since the big biz wanted MORE (nothing new there) and ryan and brody gave them whatever they wanted, the balance had to come from somewhere (the REST of US)! PLUS Individual deductions (if any will be left) will sunset in 2025 and we (middle and lower income classes) will then start paying massive amounts in taxes to offset the big biz and filthy rich permanent deductions at our expense!

They would’ve been better IF the lobbyists hadn’t gotten involved and convinced senators (too many EGOS in that body) to insert too many “me too” provisions into the bill. I’d prefer a TOTAL overhaul and simplification (closing loopholes) of the tax code to where the most complicated form is a single page.

I approve of the new bill, however, I think there are some other items that should be addressed in the future. One example would be the capital gains tax, but for now, I definitely think this is a step in the right direction. Anything that lets me keep more money each month is fine with me!!!!

We need to about 500 billion of the useless tax and a bunch of if not all loopholes. The welfare state is not part of the US of A. Never was and should never have been. All should have to resubmit for welfare ever 6 months and any one over 18 should be required to work or get out of the way or in short just move on.

I think the new tax program is good. Now the Gov. needs to approve a decent budget.

Anyone with any kind of sense wants to keep more of their earnings and give less to the government. But hey, if you like paying more than the rest of us will, by all means keep on overpaying. I won’t be.
