Clarence Thomas

Clarence Thomas is a conservative stalwart on the Supreme Court, appointed by Pres. George H.W. Bush.  Only the second black man to be appointed to the Supreme Court, Thomas is known for being quiet and reserved on the bench.

In his time on the court, he has been a strong supporter of the First and Second Amendments, and has opposed affirmative action. He also believes that Roe v. Wade, which legalized abortion, was wrongly decided. He is the author of My Grandfather’s Son: A Memoir
