Benjamin Hall is an independent journalist specialising in conflict and disaster. From Haiti to Libya, Iraq, Iran and Syria, he has documented many of the world’s recent conflicts, often travelling behing the lines with rebel fighters; undercover and under-fire.
He has worked for The New York Times, The Sunday Times, Esquire Magazine, The Herlad Tribune, Channel 4 and Colombia Studios. He has also appeared on the BBC, ITV and Iraqi television.
He is a jury member of the London Kurdish Film Festival, has trained at The New York Film Academy and has recently been awarded a Reuters’ Grant.
Educated in Britain and the USA he is now based in London.
