Edwin Meese III, author of The Heritage Guide to the Constitution, served as the 75th Attorney General of the United States under President Reagan. The Chairman of the Editorial Advisory Board, he is a distinguished legal expert and holds the Ronald Reagan Chair in Public Policy at the Heritage Foundation. He is a Distinguished Visiting Fellow with the Hoover Institution at Stanford University, and sits on the board of directors of The Federalist Society.
Meese is a native of Oakland, California. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Yale University and a law degree from the University of California, Berkeley. He has been married to his high school sweetheart, Ursula, since 1959. The couple has three children.
