Rush Revere Dethrones O’Reilly’s Killing Reagan After Five Weeks at No. 1

List is for week of November 4-10, 2015

WASHINGTON, DC – After a stunning five-week run atop the Conservative Bestseller List, Rush Limbaugh’s Rush Revere and the Star-Spangled Banner dethroned Bill O’Reilly’s Killing Reagan from the No. 1 spot.  The book is Limbaugh’s fourth entree in the bestselling young adult “Rush Revere” series.

The story follows the time-travelling adventures of fictional character Rush Revere, and his trusty horse Liberty, as they team up with historical American heroes to teach young people about American history.  This fourth adventure specifically tells the story of how our nation’s national anthem was inspired, within the backdrop of the War of 1812.

“With a renewed interest in US History, both Rush Limbaugh and Bill O’Reilly seemed to have tapped into a popular genre among conservative readers,” said Christopher Malagisi, Editor of Conservative Book Club.  “Perhaps this renewed interest in American history and civics was due in part to this week’s elections, culminating in multiple conservative victories around the country.”

Additional Highlights This Week:

  • In addition to Rush Limbaugh’s new book, three other new releases landed on the List, including:
  • Government Zero, by Michael Savage – Savage’s latest treatise on the threat of Radical Islam and illegal immigration
  • The Immortal Nicholas, by Glenn Beck – A fictional novel loosely based on the story of Santa Claus to teach children and adults about the true meaning of Christmas
  • Good Profit, by Charles Koch – Using his business experiences, the billionaire CEO and philanthropist defends free markets and laissez-faire government

The Conservative Book Club’s weekly Conservative Bestseller List will be announced each Thursday, in conjunction with The Mike Gallagher Show, and is the most accurate, unbiased, data-driven source for ranking books on conservative topics.
