All three GOP contenders appeared at a CNN town hall in Milwaukee one week before Wisconsin’s April 5 primary. When asked if he would keep the pledge he signed last September, Trump responded “No, I won’t.” He explained that he was taking back the pledge because, “I have been treated very unfairly,” and listed the Republican National Committee and party establishment among those he believes have wronged him.
Trump attacked Ted’s family in the cruelest way. Trump had his buddy David Pecker print a false story in his Nat’l Inquirer that Cruz had five mistresses; Trump intimated that Cruz’ Dad was implicated in killing Kennedy; Trump published a terrible picture of Heidi Cruz and implied that she had a disreputable past; Trump called Cruz “Lying Ted” but couldn’t name the lie. All blatant lies. Both HilLIARy and Trump are liars. Neither respects the constitution and both threaten to be dictatorial as president. If those lies were aimed at your family would you then honor the lying b——d that would sink that low? I don’t think so.
Cruz is a constitutional conservative with accomplishments for liberty and the Second Amendment before the Supreme Court, He stood fast in the Senate against the weak leadership. Ted is devoted family man and an honorable gentleman. He gave a nice speech at the convention congratulating Trump and telling the sad story about the little girl who lost her daddy to an assassin. He urged everyone to vote the party all the way down the ticket voting their conscience. What is being unfairly hyped about the speech is hurting the party and Trump’s chances as it further insults Cruz and his supporters.

I have been behind Ted, donated, and purchased his book.
He gave his word to endorse the Republican candidate of the peoples choice. His word is his bond, or should be. I will no longer support Ted, Jeb, or kasick.. They all broke their word, and have helped Hillary. politicians, not patriots.

Ted Cruz was a total embarrassment to his TX delegation last night and he deserved every boo that he received from them…..His career as a national politician came to a screeching halt last night and the damage may have been so great that he’ll lose his bid for reelection to the senate from TX….The guy has 98 peers that can’t stand the sight of him….Only senator Lee from Utah claims to be his friend and Lee is just about as goofy as Ted…..

Pence is the only republican I can vote 4. I don’t have a dog n the fight 4 president. Both of m r lying money-grubbing democrats that will do anything to cover their tails. Trump has bankrupted 4 companies by suckling the money out to let his family lead a cushy life style. Hill-d created the Clinton Foundation to build up illegal campaign funds to screw the election & add to their private stash. No difference between the 2 xcept Trump can’t quit running his mouth. I vote 4 Pence & hope someone sticks an apple n Trump’s mouth.

Ted Cruz was true to the principles that are sorely lacking in the Republican party today. By congratulating Trump and being there he gave the support he could give. It was embarrassing to see how the mob treated one of their own. If they would have let him finish and walk off there would be not “raw meat” for the media and the Democratic Party. To accost the man and his wife was disgusting. There are many people like myself who did not want to vote for Trump and are wanting to stay home. Ted Cruz appealed to people like me to not do that but to support the conservative movement and vote. If and when I vote for trump you can know that it was because of the bravery and sacrifice of Ted Cruz. Grow up America how many of you would have been so forgiving after the attacks on your family and reputation. When he made the pledge Ted did not know what kind of slimy character Trump is capable of. Why did no one have a problem with Rubio as he never actually endorsed Trump. I think the angry Trump supports were lying in wait to do what they did. Talk about dishonorable behavior. Those of you who attacked him so viciously should be ashamed of yourselves. Our enemy is Hillary not Ted.

ted cruz its like a lizard, you cut its tail off and it keeps waggin it,the Trump people and Trump knew two hours before ted gave the speech what he was going to say, I guess they figured to let him hang himself with his own rope, smart, most experts are saying he comitted political suicide, but stil this morning lizard ted kept talking to who ever would listen telling small groups how you win an election, ted to win an election of this level first you have to win the primary and get the nomination from the party , you failed to do any of thise, Trump won fair and square, you should have stsy home just like jeb and kassick, what you did is so low and dum, and like everything you did it failed, go home ted
July 21, 2016,4:13 pm
I will vote my conscience, Lyin’ Ted. If you want someone that will be faithful to the Constitution it sure won’t be Clinton, seriously, what the hell were you thinking? Just grow up, let it go, move on or you will die a spiteful, mean and stupid person who didn’t learn to work and play well with others when he was given a second chance. Trump didn’t have to ask you to speak at the convention, he did it out of the goodness of his heart to help make the party unite and you threw it away. If GOP loses, we have 4 or 8 more years of Obama’s policies they you are the one that made that happen. Don’t it make you proud?
July 21, 2016,4:09 pm
Charlene . Cruz should have endorsed Trump, put what Trump said during the primaries behind him and moved on like Hank Snow.
July 21, 2016,4:07 pm
Bad decision and I was one of your supporters. It was an opportunity to unite the GOP to beat Hillary….period. You were an opportunist for your own agenda and not a team player. The RNC and others will remember that you didn’t uphold your pledge.
July 21, 2016,3:54 pm
Hey Ted, Eric Trump did outstanding his speech way better than you, I suppose Eric Trump can be run the election for president 2020, never know!

Once again, the so-called conservative Christian candidate in the bunch has proven what a total egotistical narcissistic jackass he is. If he actually thinks that he will ever be elected president of the United States, he is living in a fantasyland. He and the Never Trumpers need to go away and start their own party. It would be fine with the rest of us at this point. You all are a lost cause.
July 21, 2016,11:48 am
Ted Cruz , you are disgrace last night in history and you are selfish and aggressive.. You will fail re – election for 2018 Seator and election for president 2020 because of that ,you damaging yourself and people who will not vote for you ever that, you did yourself . It sad!
“But it’s very important to me, but this isn’t Donald Trump that divided a nation. We went eight years with President Obama and we went many years before President Obama. We lived in a divided nation. And I am going to try, I will do everything within my power to fix that.” — Donald Trump
