Has Politics Deflated Football?

by Bradley Matthews

Has politics deflated the joy of football and the NFL’s ratings? See Michael Ramirez’s cartoon!

Are you boycotting the NFL over anthem protests? Vote HERE

  1. Allen Evans

The NFL imploded itself with highly inflated egos and players who thought THEY were more important than respect for our fallen soldiers or respect for our flag and anthem.

Everyone knows from kindergarten and on up that one must stand with hand over you heart for our country’s anthem. We should not have to put up with the antics these trouble makers. Their protests are unfounded. Police are not anymore rougher on blacks than the whites. Our white sons and daughters have been stopped driving on a street because someone robbed a bank which they not involved in. Yes, they were made to lie down in the street under gun point. The car they were driving was neither the make, model or color the police were looking for, no apologies either. So it happens to all races.

Football deflated themselves by being whiny crybabies! They picked the wrong flag to disgrace and dishonor! Ungrateful, unAmerican, over-rated fools!

Politics did not deflate football. Instead, politics exploded that dumb football. Politics should have no place in sports, science, the courts, the military, our schools, business et al. However, it has infiltrated all sectors of society and have contaminated many to no repair. Keep politics only to Washington, DC, and Hollyweird.
