Reagan’s Conservative Drink: The Orange Blossom Special
President Reagan often had to deal with Russians, which means he was around vodka a lot at summit meetings. Orange Blossoms are usually made with gin, but it is suspected that because President Reagan did not respond well to gin (perhaps an allergy) he substituted vodka instead.
